CURRENT POSITIONS
 
Consulting Engineer
The Consulting Engineer is responsible for delivering solution based product to its customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-sales environment for at least 5 years working with Microsoft Windows server technology (2000/2003) including SQL Server, SMS, MOM, IIS, etc. The Consulting Engineer will have deep knowledge of Windows OS (XP/2000/2003) and should have knowledge of AD, advanced knowledge of network design and IP management techniques. The Consulting Engineer is expected to have a BS degree in Business or Computer Science.

The travel component for the Consulting Engineer is expected to be no more than 40% with 25% of this being international and 75% being domestic. International trips are expected to up to 1 week while the domestic travel may vary from 1 day to 1 week at a time.

Requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows server technology (2000/2003) including SQL Server, SMS, MOM, IIS, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows OS (XP/2000/2003/Vista)
  • Active Directory expertise in a large enterprise environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of network design and IP management techniques
  • Basic understanding of encryption techniques and key management
  • Knowledge of various security standards and methodologies like ISO27001, FIPS200, COBIT and ITIL
  • Knowledge of storage devices & technologies like RAID, SAN and archive & restore
  • Knowledge of configuration management, using images, Symantec Ghost, VM Ware and software deployment tools like SMS, Alteris, LANDesk
  • Experience with common scripting languages, SQL, and network protocols.
  • Knowledge or relational database like SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle with basic DBA skills
  • Prior consulting experience in enterprise environments (5+ years)
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix is significant advantage

Technical Support Engineer 
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for resolving customer requests for technical help with the Verdasys Inc. product line. The TSE will recreate customer corporate enterprise environments including network conditions, applications and advanced network tools. This is done to reproduce the customer issue to determine and test resolutions. These customer environments often utilize VMWare. The TSE will be assigned customer requests and is expected to handle them expeditiously and professionally. Communications with customers is frequent, and is done via email, phone, and Instant Messaging.

Apply for this role if you are a strong problem solver, are great communicating with people, and can manage a large active list of tasks.

No travel required.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)

Sales Training Manager 

Verdasys is seeking a seasoned Sales Training Manager to facilitate the ongoing training needs of our fast growing direct and indirect sales force. We are looking for an energetic and passionate leader to create a world-class sales training program that enables account managers and improves the efficiency of the sales cycle. This is a highly visible and strategic role here at Verdasys. In this role, you will be at the forefront of defining the components and the delivery model for sales training at Verdasys. You must be a highly strategic thinker and an outstanding project manager in order to pull together the content and deliver it as efficiently as possible. You will need to collaborate effectively across multiple organizational lines and with the executive staff. Finally, you will need to deliver sales training to a global audience using a combination of in-person training, asynchronous training, and virtual classroom techniques.

Some travel is required. 

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of sales training experience (preferably for an enterprise software company) 
  • 2+ years of direct sales experience
  • Outstanding project management skills (including subcontractor management)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant experience delivering training to a global audience using a combination of in-person training, asynchronous training, and virtual classroom techniques

Principal Software Engineer (Kernel)

The Principal Software Engineer will work on new Verdasys products. This position requires strong knowledge of the Windows architecture and experience developing drivers in C/C++. The ideal candidate has experience writing Windows file system drivers and must be able to solve complex Windows kernel mode problems. The candidate must have 5+ years of development experience.

Requirements:
  • Expert level understanding of windows internals.
  • Expert experience using WinDbg
  • Expert in Windows kernel driver development using WinDDK
  • Working experience with assembly language is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of security and cryptography is a plus.
  • Working experience using Microsoft’s Visual Studio IDE
  • Working experience or strong desire to work on Windows Vista drivers.
  • Win32 user mode development experience
  • Ability to efficiently analyze dumps and pinpoint software flaws
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • String written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent team player
