| Seth Birnbaum |

Seth Birnbaum is chief executive officer and a co-founder of Verdasys, Inc. Birnbaum brings a broad range
of engineering skills, information technology expertise and start-up experience to his role as CEO. He and his colleagues founded Verdasys to
address a very real business need with which he had direct experience: the improper use of valuable corporate information by a trusted user.
Though the threat was addressed before any loss occurred, Birnbaum and his colleagues soon realized that existing security solutions could not
provide the executive-level visibility and control required to adequately protect information assets and demonstrate compliance with regulatory
mandates. The team founded Verdasys in 2002.
Before starting the company, Birnbaum was a co-founder and VP of engineering at NeoGenesis Pharmaceuticals, a privately held biotechnology company
focused on the discovery and development of drug candidates against targets from the human genome. While at NeoGenesis, he managed discovery
systems, engineering and production research efforts, ran the information technology team and helped lead the organization to over $20 million
in revenue.
Prior to his work at NeoGenesis, Birnbaum served as project engineer at Diversified Technologies Inc., a leading provider of high power
modulators, DC power supplies and control systems, where he was responsible for manufacturing operations of all high-energy and material handling
systems. Birnbaum also served as a project consultant with Scripps Institute, where he was responsible for the design of laboratory automation
systems for life science and chemical research.
Birnbaum holds of a number of patents in chemistry and drug discovery technologies and computing systems. He received his B.S in engineering from MIT.
